Happy Halloween!

I think this will be a low-key Halloween for me... potluck at church, followed by r&r at home (gotta watch these movies soon, so I can return them to my friends, haha)... unless someone has a more fun idea? =)

Dancing, ghost hunting... it's all good!

And now, the Friday Five:
1. What was your first Halloween costume?

I don't remember exactly... but it was one of those old school costumes made entirely out of cheap plastic. You know, the ones where you have those plastic masks with the tiny slits for your eyes and nose, so if you make it through the night without passing out, your whole face is drenched in nasty, stale sweat? Yeah.

2. What was your best costume and why?

Hmm, probably last year when I went in my first gag costume: a hippie outfit, complete with huge fro, loud clothes, and all! I loved how people would either look at me and crack up, or go: "Oh. My. God. Steve, is that you?!" (THEN proceed to crack up at me) =D

3. Did you ever play a trick on someone who didn't give you a treat?

I honestly don't remember. I was a pretty bratty and fiery-tempered kid though, so it wouldn't surprise me if I took revenge on some mean old adults!

4. Do you have any Halloween traditions? (ie: Family pumpkin carving, special dinner before trick or treating, etc.)

Nope.

5. Share your favorite scary story...real or legend!

I woke up one day and looked at the amount I owed on my bills/credit cards, and then at my bank account? Haha....

Hmm, not scary, but they're real life things that I experienced:

(1) While walking around New Orleans one night with a friend, I stopped to look down this one long alley (by Jackson Square I think?). As far as anyone could tell, nothing looked unusual... yet I kept on staring at this one spot in the middle of the alley. The next day, we go on one of those cheesy Haunted Tours... and for the last stop of the tour, the guide brings us to that same square. There, he told us that the area used to house the colony jail... and the spot I was staring at which had no visible markings? Apparently, that's the spot where they hung/executed all the criminals!

(2) The SF Presidio has been long known for supernatural activity (well, long known if you're a freak like me that used to do lots of research on the supernatural/paranormal as a kid!). One night, a friend invited me to check out an art exhibit there. I get there early, and walk towards the building. Keep in mind that I'm wearing a warm leather jacket, and despite the night fog and chill, I don't feel the cold at all.

But as soon as I open the door, and cross the threshold into the building, I instantly feel chills all over my body, and all the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up! Before I could catch myself, I slowly turn to my right... to stare at this empty table, surrounded by large windows reflecting nothing but the darkness outside. All the while that I'm walking through this empty section of the building, the chills and hair-raising continues, and I get the distinct feeling that I'm being watched. But that all immediately vanished as soon as I cross over from that section to the one where all the paintings (and people) are!

Boys for Life

Over the past weekend, one of (if not the) my oldest and closest buddies got married. Congrats and all the love, happiness and success to you two, John and Tammie. =)

Words can't begin to describe our relationship... no matter how long it's been John, God always brings us back together, and we've been through so much together. You truly are a brother in every sense of the word to me, man.

Well, enough of the gay mushy stuff. For now, at least. ;) So I got to play photographer once again and improve my technique. I'm going further away from using any "auto" settings on my camera, and tried to capture the wedding in natural light as much as possible. I really love the soft effect it gives... unfortunately, for those same reasons, I know that I'm approaching the limit of my camera's capabilities. Meaning that for me to take the pictures in the style that I'd like to, I need to step up to a "real" camera - a digital SLR. I can't stand the graininess of no flash pics taken at high ISOs. =(

(So please no one else get married until I can buy my Canon 10D please! ;))

But I digress from the main topic of this entry. John's wedding not only gave me the opportunity to watch my old buddy get married, but to get reunited with a bunch of friends (my boys) I hadn't seen since high school! Almost 10 years later, and there we were, being just as gay, loud, and immature as always. And man, that was great! Hahaha. From making fun of Calvin together, to huddling while "dancing" to YMCA together, to taking countless shots of Remy together, to freaking and groping each other, we had a blast together, eh?

As Tammie (and other significant others) so astutely observed: "You boys are so silly when you're all together!" (Speaking of which, I never knew you were in SOPi Tammie! No wonder you're always with so many other hot girls, haha)

I have no doubt that we'll all continue keeping in touch somehow through the years.
=====
I really need to thank Manus for saving my butt and letting me borrow some of his Compact Flash cards... life would have been a serious pain without them, since I ended up taking almost 1000 pictures (2GB's worth)!

Sorry, the pics will have to remain private and password protected for now, until I (or you) get an OK from the bride and groom. =)

Now and Then

This entry won't be depressingly introspective like Outside, Inside... just a collection of random thoughts.

While sitting through my Theory of Modern Programming Languages class today, I realized that I've enjoyed programming since I was a little kid! During elementary and middle school, based on my obsession interest in Fantasy/Role-Playing Games, I tried creating games based on Choose Your Own Adventure books! I'd sit in front of the TV screen, furiously pumping out hundreds of lines of BASIC code on my Atart 400! (awww yeah, baby!)

Man, I am was such a nerd! But what exasperates me is the realization that my programs were precursors to MUDs, which were precursors to the cash cow MMORPGs (think Everquest) of today! Argh!

Also, if I had just stuck to my true interests instead of dabbling in the life sciences, I'd probably be a filthy rich early employee of the first dotcoms, and not having to work anymore! Double argh!! =/
=====
As a kid, I was taught that it was rude to be so forward or indiscreet. But now that I'm an old man, I find that I'm not so concerned about what others think about me (I know and accept myself), making it easier to express my feelings honestly and openly. To tell people what I really think. Just because you give someone a compliment (especially of the other sex) doesn't necessarily mean you're hitting on them. I'm also finding that my buddy John was right: hold your head up, and look people straight in the eye (or up sometimes, if you're short like me, haha. =p). People tend to respond/be affected by this show of confidence.

So today while walking around campus, I see this girl wearing some hot shoes -- the open-toed ones with straps that go around like a third up her legs (I'm such a leg guy ;p)! She turned around and caught me staring, but instead of turning away shyly like in the past, I looked her in the eyes, smiled, and complimented her.

"Wow, so you graduated from Davis with biochem?"
"Yep." (she's a zoology major)
"How old are you?"
"Hmm... guess." *grin*
"Let's see... you graduated, so I'm guessing 21? 22? 23? 24? 20? 24...?"
"Haha, I'm an old man. I'm 28." *smile*
"Wow, you don't look it at all. You look so young still!"
"Hahaha, thanks I think. I guess it's all the laughing and smiling." *wink*
"Yeah, you have a really cute smile!"

Now that I think about it, she was wearing the same kinda shoes that Rocki wore for church... sexy!

Hmm... I guess Mare was right about me being an "undercova freak" after all?

...NAH! Hahaha. ;D

P.S. Sorry to everyone who expected to see me tonight for the Iota Phi initiation ceremony... I thought I'd be able to go to both my buddy's wedding rehearsal and the ceremony, but doesn't look like it. =(

October 23, 2003

And on the seventh day...

...I rest.

Man, this was a rough week. I think I got all of 10 hours sleep over the past 5 days? Of course, all the late late night IM conversations -- some to like 5am, ugh -- didn't help either, haha. Oh well. =)

However, it's times like these that reaffirm my (current) career path: the countless hours of stubbornly debugging my programs, brainstorming solutions... all of which make the final product, when it works properly, all the sweeter!

So, anyone want to help me celebrate by shopping tomorrow? I could use a 2nd opinion! Miss ShoppingQueen? ;)

Oh, and huge thanks to 6togo for (indirectly =p) reminding me about the Jamba Juice special today! See? Who says that reading online journals is a waste of time? =)

Finally... I can't believe Halloween is this weekend! It totally snuck up on me... wasn't it just yesterday that my kickass "adopted" big sis was sharing her story about kids avoiding her house like the plague and pelting each other's houses with PETs?! Hehe. =p

Well... I guess this means I can save my nun costume idea for another year!

*yawn* Sleep is good... maybe after I watch a movie or 5 that's backlogged on me! ;D

Update: I swear 6togo finds the best entertainment links, period! I agree with her and Mare, Wanted List is a great idea! You KNOW that the 2 owners are rolling in it! =/

And let's see how many of these bad boys I can cross off the list when I go to Hawaii in January! *drool*

2003 Regionals

As promised, here are my pictures! =) You know the drill: if you want the original, full-size image, let me know.

First of all, huge thanks to CZ and Minh for picking me up from the airport friday night! We went to visit one of Czrena's friends living in Newport Beach afterwards, but you can read about that down below if you're so inclined. =)

Compared to past Regional conferences that I've attended, this one didn't feel like a conference: people mostly kept to themselves and I didn't see many people staying up late, wandering the hotel and socializing. It also didn't seem like there was that much to do (not to take away anything from the hard work and effort Rho Gamma put into organizing this!).

Admittedly, I went down hoping to enjoy Disneyland and eat at Pink's, but accomplished neither. Despite that, I ended up having a great time, and am very happy I went! I got to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in almost a year, as well as meet some new ones. The places and attractions always will be there, but it's the shared memories and fun you have with friends that matter most. =)

Like learning more about your friends... staying up until the next morning talking about random things... or dancing the night away! I haven't danced like that (or had as much fun) in years... I guess I still got a little "somethin, somethin" in the gas tank and legs, haha. Thanks to the AAXi ladies for being awesome dance partners (esp. JJ for dragging me to the dance floor in the first place and Christina for your energy!); Sam (Bye, bye, bye!) and the IPhi crew; Kaylani, Danny and the MZ crew; Annie and the Rho Pi ladies!

Thanks Ray for driving all the way up to LA for Pink's and back... too bad we didn't get there in time (yeah I know it's my bad). =( It's all good though... you, Will and I spend quality time together, right? Plus, it was really cool that I got to hang out with all 3 Warriners at once! Hehe.

Oh. My. God. I think Czrena's friend's family is the richest I've ever encountered (and I have some disgustingly rich friends)! Their house mansion looked like a museum from the outside, and upon stepping inside, I swear I was stepping into some place straight out of MTV's Cribs!

Their backyard not only included a heated pool and jacuzzi, but also had a koi pond, waterfall, and golf area, complete with sand traps! I could go on about how droolingly impressive this house is -- about their movie theater, their garage the size of my entire house, their amazing kitchen (yes, complete with every top-of-the-line Viking appliance), their locked vintage wine cellar -- but I'll leave you with some choice quotes:

"Remember that gated community that you passed by on your way here? Yeah, Kobe lives there... that's considered the ghetto part of this area."
Minh: "How can anyone be that rich? ...I swear their family has more money than God!"

Oh, and as a footnote, his neighbors include the likes of Dean Koontz, the creators of Hot Pockets, and the creators of Happy Meal toys! One sister is a very successful venture capitalist, the other is marrying a British Baron, his younger brother is like the #1 prep pole vaulter in the country, and his parents look like they're in their late 30s!

Whew... OK, I had to get that out of my system. =)

Baseball, PETs, and Relationships

First things first, last person in the world that I'd want to be: the Cubs fan who cost the Cubs game 6! Dumbass.

Cubs fans: as an A's fan, I can share that sickening feeling in your stomach I'm sure you all have right now... =/

Just picked up my mom from the airport, and look at what she brought fresh from Canada: Mmmmmmmm!

I recently got reconnected with someone who knew me back from my old college days. The sad/funny thing is, I didn't really remember her since I wasn't really around/active that term, but she recognized me: "Well! I think we have alot more in common than you think! I took one look at your pic and thought Steve Lee! From UCD Aphio!.."

Hahaha, I thought it was hilarious that she remembered me as Steve Lee! Man, talk about my reputation (that apparently I'll never live down) preceding me... all good, of course! ;D

So about a week ago, I started feeling twinges of that old, familiar sense of lonliness... wondering if and when I'd ever find that special somebody. It also doesn't help that I'm so damn picky! I'm still happy and content with my life as is, but all the same... it would be nice to have that special someone to hang out and talk with at the end of the day.

I started to pray about my feelings... when I was younger, my prayers were decidely selfish:

"Dear God, I've been a good guy so please hook me up with [X]! It would make me very happy... oh, and if you do this for me, I'll try to be a better Christian!"

(Go ahead and laugh ;p)

But this time, it was completely different:

"Dear God, I'm starting to feel weak... starting to feel lonely and insecure again. But I just want to pray for patience -- please grant me the wisdom and guidance to continue praising and trusting in You. Please help me to place all my fears and life in Your hands, having faith that You will provide in Your time."

Earlier, I mentioned how my pickiness costs me... I swear another thing that screws me up is how fricking bad awful my timing/decision-making is, causing me to fail taking advantage of opportunities that present themselves (except Vegas ;))! DOH!

The other day, I was sitting outside, chatting with a friend in between classes. Out walks this HOT girl, and I'm totally checking her out... and she's doing the same back. We continue locking gazes as she's walking, until I break off contact to look and talk to my friend... but we're soon maintaining eye contact again (she has her head turned to look back at me), and she flashes me a little smile... until she finally passes out of view.

Geeze, I swear I was this close to running after her! But NO, that'd be too messed up to ditch my buddy like that... man, the things I sacrifice for my friends! *grumble* ...Ahh well, if God meant for it to be, I'll see her again, and we'll pick up where we left off. ;)

Man... story of my life. Sad. Haha.

Anyway, the point is that while God closes some doors, He also opens others. It's a matter of being patient, recognizing these opening doors, and stepping through.

I went to pick up my dad from his ballroom dance class tonight. I look in, and see that the room is full of older people... except for 1 (cute) Asian girl. I think she got excited at seeing me (who can blame her? ;)) -- or maybe at the possibility of someone her age in the class, haha -- because we were checking each other out for a while. I was outside the room, mind you. She was dancing, but pretty much ignored her partner while looking at me... and I noticed that she was putting a little extra hip action in her dancing! She knew that I noticed, too. Good dancer! *rawr* ;)

I've said it once, I'll say it again: thank God for Latin dancing! *grin* ...I think I'll have to pay another visit to the class...hehe. ;p

Kill Bill

UPDATE: Just read 6togo's review... Sonny Chiba DID rock! Easily our group's fave character! Haha. Oh yeah, another reason to watch this movie: LONG LotR trailer baby!!! =D

Watched Kill Bill - it's true: it's like watching a bloody, live-action anime! The action and killing got increasingly comedic as the movie progressed. I don't know whether to be amused or scared that our group laughed the loudest in a packed movie theater during the kill scenes. =p

Bizarre and bloody, but definitely an entertaining movie! Very interesting and effective use of music and cinematography by Tarintino -- I really liked the Japan segment... felt like I was watching Ruoruni Kenshin. Plus, I think that was the first time I ever thought that Lucy Liu looked pretty good! ^_^

I also got together with some guys earlier to celebrate my old buddy's bachelor party. One of the cleanest and low-key ever, but still fun. Congrats puppetmaster, your macking days are over! ;)

Finally, check out these great pics of Lee Hyori (of FinKL fame)... wow! Anyong Haseyo to you baby! *drool* Hehe. (Thanks Dave for the link!)

A Ham In Disguise?

As some of you know, I'm taking a beginning vocal class this semester... and loving every minute of it! The professor makes us do all these strange breathing, pitch, and tone exercises, along with goofy facial expressions.

As silly as we may look or sound, he got the whole class to buy into it... so no one feels stupid doing the exercises. It's amazing how unified the class is... like I look around, and see everyone smiling (even the gangsta AzN guy with the earring, and the studly white guy with all the tattoos... who's also one of the better singers in the class!). I think that's mostly a reflection of how charismatic, funny and positive our professor is... he feels no shame acting like a goofball, so we feel comfortable acting likewise. =)

Plus, I'm sure it doesn't hurt that he's cute/good-looking! ;)

I feel like I'm learning quite a bit -- little nuances I don't think I would have noticed on my own, such as how much facial (and body) expressions/position affect your singing and breathing! Like maintaining a happy, smiley face ("Imagine someone surprising you with a dozen roses!") allows a greater amount of air to pass through your naval cavities, and brightens up tones considerably. Try singing "do re mi fa so" (C-D-E-F-G) with a neutral face, and compare that to singing with your happy face! I think you'll notice the biggest difference in your "fa's".

We recently sang some songs in small groups. My group sang Amazing Grace... and while in front of the class, I swear I sang like I never sang before! I just got really into it... and got class comments along the lines of: "Wow, great job! My attention kept on returning to you because you were just so expressive! I really felt the emotions coming through!"

It's noticing things like these that make me realize that I enjoy the attention/spotlight... when I'm "performing," that is. Anything where I can really express myself -- be it through singing, acting, playing the cello, dancing.

I may not be good at any of the above... but (as I'm really noticing for myself) what really matters is your ability to pull off the above with confidence (OK OK, so you have to not completely suck!). People will respond positively if you can lead, and act as if you know what you're doing. ;)

It's strange... after singing and leading the class once or twice, I go from being the unknown guy at the beginning of the semester, to having all these people smiling, saying hi, and feeling comfortable with me now.

Another change I notice about myself: I'm volunteering to sing and/or do the vocal exercises when I can (without seeming too much like a goober! ;)). Most of my life, I would only volunteer for things if I knew that I would succeed. But now, I figure that the only way to improve is (like any physical activity) to practice whenever I can, and get feedback from the instructor!

I think I want to sing Music of the Night... unless anyone has other recommendations? (baritone voice please!) =) I swear, my joking about running away to try and join Broadway if my current career plans fall through are starting to seem less and less whimsical. ;)

And, this week's Friday Five:

1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?
Oh, hell yes. I think I've watched just about every conceivable sporting event at least once -- blame ESPN and boredom -- but if we're talking about regularly: football, hockey, basketball, baseball... and occasionally, soccer and bowling.

2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?
Favorite sports teams: Oakland A's, SF Giants, San Jose Sharks, SF 49ers. Favorite athlete of all time: Ronnie Lott. The man was just a huge inspiration to me: not the most physically gifted guy, but had the guts and heart to succeed no matter the odds! One of the hardest-hitting defensive backs of all time!

3. Are there any sports you hate?
To watch? Nope. I don't particularly care for playing volleyball and basketball though.

4. Have you ever been to a sports event?
Yep.

5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?
Football - 2 years (safety/db of course =))
Soccer - 3 years (fullback)... would love to play again!
Baseball - 1 year (2B/SS/OF)
Softball - 2 years... starting to get back into it
Ice/Roller Hockey - 3 years (goalie)... I miss it, but it's a PAIN IN THE ASS lugging 100 lbs. of equipment around.
...Do auto racing and bowling count? ;)

Notice my predisposition towards defense? =)

Fancy-shmancy Restaurants

This entry is pretty much for my own information... when I have the special companion/occasion to try these 4 star restaurants. ;p (Of course, any of my dear, beloved readers are more than welcome to take me! *wink*)

-The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton
-French Laundry (Must make reservations 2 months in advance; according to these people's reservation saga, best to make them in person)
-Must return to Boulevard some day (for a "fine dining" restaurant, prices are reasonable, portions large, and you can get a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge and water)
-Masa'a -- doesn't seem like a particularly romantic restaurant, as it's geared more towards business people. But as one of the world's premier French restaurants, would like to go just to say that I've been there. =) Plus, maybe I can get a picture with Chef Ron Siegel -- the only American to ever beat (and by unanimous decision!) Iron Chef French, Hiroyuki Sakai! Hehe.
-Chez Panisse
-Restaurant Gary Danko -- *shrug* If I'm already imagining wasting all this money already, why not try this place too? Haha.

...Only thing that sucks is since I pretty much don't eat seafood, I'm SOL on most of the standard prix fixe menus. Thankfully, most of these places offer delicious-sounding vegetarian tasting menus (especially Masa's)!

*sigh* Need to exercise more to get my mind off food. ;)

Oh...by the way, I finally broke the 35 minute barrier baby (that's 5 miles, on non-flat terrain, at 7 mins/mile)!!! Man, in less than 2 months I went from overweight and out of shape to lean, mean running machine! *pats self on back* ;) This is proof that I can accomplish any goal that I dedicate myself to!

Working out/exercising is an addiction... once you start noticing gains, you want to continue improving. I know I'm not in any sort of game shape, so I plan to focus on playing sports and sprinting now.

Fitness goals:
-Run Lake Merced in 30-35 mins
-Run a sub-6 min mile
-Develop a 6-pack

*sigh*

Screw the East Coast... no really, screw the East Coast! =(

So, for yet another year in a row, my heart's broken in October. *sigh*

It's a good thing I didn't go to the Coliseum for tonight's game... I think I'd be too depressed. As it already were, I was pretty damn disoriented/shocked:

I went to Borders afterwards to study (pretty cool area, although space is at a premium, and it closes at 11pm) and had to use the restroom. I walked in, and noticed a person walking out of the stall... it literally took a second (and a double-take) before my brain registered the fact that the person was female!

So I glanced back and then noticed the nice, distinctive women's restroom sign! So I quickly apologized, and walked out and into the men's restroom! Whoops! =x

Hehe... but I actually wasn't all that panicked (upon realizing that I was in the women's restroom) -- almost nonchalant, really -- I think I was still too shocked from that A's game for it all to register. *sigh*

Man... what a crazy (sad) weekend for bay area sports. =/ It's ironic -- I end up barely winning and sweeping all my fantasy football leagues due to last minute heroics (John Hall, Patrick Ramsey, and Marvin Harrison)... but I'd gladly trade all that for the A's (and Giants, I guess ;)) season to continue. Hell, I'd trade my fantasy football season -- and you know how much that means to me -- for an A's World Series Championship!

*sigh*

On the bright side, I had a wonderful lunch with my lil sis Gina today! We lost track of time, enjoying great conversation (and Korean food.... mmm, Brother's!)... I feel blessed that even though I may not have had relatively many lil sis's, I was paired up with some awesome ones (like you, Dr. Chen =)) that I still keep in touch with all these years.

The best part is, no matter how long it's been, we can pick up where we left off and chat as if no time had passed -- a clear sign of how awesome a guy/big bro I am! Haha. ;p

Now that I've calmed down a bit, I can say that from a sports fan's point of view, this was an awesome weekend in sports:

- Hockey season is underway
- Great World Cup soccer semi-finals
- Ramsey leading the Redskins' improbable near-comeback against the Eagles
- (I missed this game, but) The Colts coming back to tie the Bucs with 4 mins left in regulation, and going on to win in OT... one of the best Monday Night Football games, ever!
- The bottom of the 9th inning of the A's-Red Sox game was one of the most dramatic innings in memory

*sigh* But it all boils down to this: screw LA, and screw the East Coast!!! =(

Must... get rid... of anger.

A's, sports, and tigers, oh my!

Sigh... today's A's game sucked hard. Fricking 4 errors in 1 inning which led to the only Red Sox run in regulation, 2 DUMBASS baserunning errors by the A's which cost them 2 runs (and most likely, the game)... I dunno about you, but my coaches always taught me to never give up on the play until the play's whistled dead, or you're told to stop by the refs.

*sigh*

Man... I have this sick feeling rising in my stomach... I really hope this isn't going to be a repeat of 2 years ago against the damn Yankees!

No more blogging by me until this series is over! (It's weird how "superstitious" I get when it comes to sports, haha)

So today I played basketball (thanks Leon for inviting me) for about an hour... it actually turned out to be fun! Stats-wise, I only had like 3 assists to my name... but I definitely made my contribution and presence felt on defense! It felt good to hear guys like a decade(?) younger than me say: "Damn dude, where the hell are you getting all that energy from? Give me some!" =D

Endurance-wise, I was fine... but man, my legs were starting to feel pretty damn rubbery, let me tell ya! Haha. Who knows, maybe with more practice and games under my belt, I might actually be useful on offense, too! ;)

OK... reading things like Roy getting mauled by his own tiger are exactly the reasons why I would never feel comfortable with an (non-caged/non-aquarium) animal in my household. No matter how domesticated or well-trained the animal may be, it's still a fricking animal! You have no idea what it's thinking or what it might do! Me getting bit by a dog is one thing... but the possibility of my future children getting mauled to death as infants? Oh, hell fricking no! (Thanks 6togo for the link!)

Thanks for the party invites this past weekend, but I just wasn't feeling in the party mood, sorry! =/ This weekend was all about sports and exercising studying, playing video games doing homework, and catching up with old, missed friends (even if all they talk about are shoes, purses and shoes *cough* ;)) recovering from my cold.

Such a hard life I live. =/

Friday Five

Woo, finally a Friday Five that I can answer without too much thinking! ;)

1. What vehicle do you drive?
BMW E36 M3

2. How long have you had it?
About 3 years

3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?
Just 1? =( Hmm... how about a blanket feature, like performance? =D The handling, obviously... but also the peppy nature of the inline 6 engine. The OBD-I electronics which, relative to the other M3 production years, allows my car to respond most effectively to aftermarket mods. And modified it is, baby! *grin*

4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?
The maintenance cost. Ugh. If I didn't love my baby so much, I would've sold it off a long time ago.

5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?
Easy: RUF Porsche RTurbo, based off the current 996 Turbo production model in Arctic Silver. *drool*

Like the M3, the Porsche Turbo offers you awesome performance, vestigial civility (hey... it DOES have some kinda backseats, trunkspace and AC! ;)), and is a damn sexy car! The perfect package...yum!

Realistically though, I'll probably get a Porsche 993 Turbo S (1997) at some point in my life... those are also beautiful cars -- all 911s are =) -- and I'd feel a LOT less guilty taking the car to the track or autocross!

My perfect garage: M3, Porsche Turbo, Corvette, and either the WRX STi or Lancer EVO... what me, need for speed? Awww yeah, baby. =)
